Plans and pricing: Free, Pro and Pro Cloud
Memlow is free, with two optional yearly plans. Pro costs $8.50 a year and removes the ads in the Android app. Pro Cloud costs $25 a year, removes the ads and adds 50 GB of end-to-end encrypted Memlow Cloud. Notes, Google Drive backup, sync, locks and export are free for everyone, and they stay free.
Note
You buy a plan in the Android app, through Google Play. The plan screens come with the next Android update, so the version on Google Play today doesn't show them yet. The web app already shows your plan, and it sells nothing.

Those are US prices. Google Play shows the price in your own currency before you buy. A plan renews every year until you cancel it. The Pricing page shows the same plans side by side.
The web app has no ads for anyone, so if you only write in your browser, Pro changes little more than the badge. Pro Cloud adds Memlow Cloud there too.
What stays free
Everything that's free today stays free. You don't need a plan to back up lecture notes to your own Drive, or to sync a shop's stock list between phone and computer. You don't need one to lock a credit book with a PIN or export a note as a PDF either.

Get a plan in the Android app
These steps are for the next Android update.
- Tap the crown beside Search on Home, or open
Settingsand tapPlans. - If you aren't signed in, tap
Sign in to continue. A plan belongs to your Memlow account, so you need one to buy. - Pick Pro or Pro Cloud, and tap
Subscribe. - Confirm in Google Play. Memlow says "Thank you. Your plan is on."

See your plan on the web
Sign in at app.memlow.com and your plan shows as a small Free, Pro or Pro Cloud badge under the Memlow name. The crown beside the bell opens the plan page, app.memlow.com/plans. You'll also find it under Account, in Plan & storage, as See plans.
The page shows what you have, its end or renewal date and how much of Memlow Cloud you're using. It has no way to pay. Plans are bought in the Android app, and the page links to it.
One plan on every device
A plan belongs to your Memlow account, not to one phone. Sign in on another phone or in your browser and you get the same badge, the same freedom from ads and the same Memlow Cloud. It counts the same wherever it was bought, and nobody with a plan is asked to buy it again.
Memlow sometimes gives an account a plan, as a thank-you or to put a problem right. That isn't a subscription, and nothing charges you for it.
