Change or cancel a plan, refunds and restore
To cancel a Memlow plan, open your subscription in Google Play and cancel it there. You keep the plan until the end of the time you've paid for, and then it doesn't renew. Pro can change to Pro Cloud in the Android app, paying only for the time left in the year. Refunds go through Google Play.
Note
The Android steps here are for the next Android update, which brings the plan screens.
Change from Pro to Pro Cloud
In the next Android update:
- Tap the crown beside Search on Home, or open
Settingsand tapPlans. - Tap
Upgrade to Pro Cloud. - Google Play shows the amount before you confirm. You pay only for the time left in this year.
From your next renewal, the plan renews yearly at the Pro Cloud price.
The change goes one way. Pro Cloud has no option to change to Pro. To leave it, cancel it in Google Play.
Cancel a plan
On Android
- Open the plan page: the crown on Home, or
Settings, thenPlans. - Tap
Manage subscription. Google Play opens. - Cancel the subscription there.
If Google Play can't find it, switch to the Google account that bought it.
On the web
- Open the plan page, app.memlow.com/plans, or
Account, thenPlan & storage. - Choose
Manage in Google Play. - Cancel the subscription there.
Your plan then says "Ends on" and its date. Until that date nothing changes.
Warning
Deleting your Memlow account doesn't cancel a subscription, and neither does uninstalling the app. Google Play goes on charging until you cancel it there.
Refunds
For a plan bought through Google Play, refunds go through Google Play, under its rules, so ask Google Play first. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the plan ends at once. If the law where you live gives you other rights, such as a right to cancel, those still apply. The Refund policy and the Terms have the full wording.
If you're stuck, or have a question about a charge, write to [email protected].
Restore a plan on a new phone
A plan belongs to your Memlow account, so signing in to that account brings it back. If it doesn't show, open the plan page in the next Android update and tap Restore. Use the Google account that bought it.
- "There's nothing to restore on this Google account" means this Google account didn't buy a plan.
- "This subscription belongs to another Memlow account" means you should sign in to that account, or subscribe with a different Google account.
When a plan ends
You go back to Free. Ads come back in the Android app, nothing you wrote is touched, and what's free stays free. Memlow Cloud goes read-only for 90 days: see When Pro Cloud ends.
When a payment fails
If Google Play can't take the payment, it tries again for a while. Your plan may carry on during that time or be put on hold, and Memlow says which. Update your payment in Google Play to keep it or bring it back.
A plan you didn't buy through Google Play
A plan Memlow gave you isn't a subscription, so there's nothing to cancel and nothing charges you. If your plan was sold somewhere else, Manage your plan takes you to where you bought it.
