Memlow is free. Your notes stay yours and stay on your device. Be kind in the comments, keep your passwords safe, and keep a backup of anything you can't lose.
About these terms
These terms cover memlow.com, Memlow on the web, the Memlow app for Android, Memlow accounts and the Memlow blog. Memlow is published by Memlow ("we", "us"). By using any of them you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your information, and our cookies page lists the cookies we use.
Using Memlow
Memlow is free to use, for personal notes or for work. There is nothing to buy. You can use it as long as you follow these terms and the law where you live.
Your notes
Your notes, photos and recordings are yours. They are stored on your device, and we never receive them. Because they live on your device, you are responsible for keeping them safe: use Memlow's backups (to your own Google Drive or to a file) for anything you can't lose. Backups are encrypted with your backup password. We can't see that password and can't recover it, so keep it somewhere safe.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to make a Memlow account (or older, if the law in your country says so).
- Use your own name or a name you are happy to show, and an email address you can read.
- An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@memlow.com if you think someone else is using your account.
- You can change your details or delete your account at any time on your account page.
Comments
You can comment on blog posts. Your comment stays yours, and you let us show it on memlow.com. Every comment waits for approval, and we may refuse or remove any comment, for example if it is unkind, off topic, spam, or breaks the law. Don't post anyone's private information, including your own.
What you must not do
- Use Memlow to break the law, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
- Try to get into accounts or parts of Memlow that aren't yours, or test our security without our written permission.
- Overload or disrupt memlow.com, or make accounts or comments automatically.
- Upload anything harmful, such as malware, or anything you don't have the right to share.
- Pretend to be someone else, or pretend to speak for Memlow.
Ads in the Android app
The Android app shows ads from Google AdMob, which pay for Memlow. Google's own terms and privacy policy apply to the ads. Ads never see your notes. The web version has no ads.
Changes to Memlow
We keep improving Memlow, so features may change, and now and then one may be removed. We'll try to tell you in good time about changes that matter, and we will always give you a way to take your notes with you (backups and exports).
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Memlow reliable and your notes safe, but Memlow is free and is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost notes or data (please keep backups), or for indirect losses that come from using Memlow or not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law gives you and that can't be taken away.
Ending
You can stop using Memlow and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or Memlow at risk. If we do, we'll tell you why when we can. Your notes stay on your device either way.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan can settle any disagreement about them. If you live somewhere with consumer laws that give you more protection, you keep that protection.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll publish the new version here with a new date, and for big changes we'll also show a notice on the site. If you keep using Memlow after that, the new terms apply.
