Timetable template

A class timetable template with the days of the week across the top and the hours from 8:00 down the side. Type each subject into its slot, and lunch breaks colour themselves. It works the same way as an exam timetable or a study timetable: one exam or subject per slot, with the dates in the headings.

The weekly timetable template in Memlow Sheets: the days of the week across, hours down, subjects in their slots and lunch breaks coloured

What's in this timetable template

  • The seven days of the week across the top, starting on your first day of the week.
  • Hourly slots down the side, from 8:00 to 17:00, with the first column frozen so the times stay in view.
  • A few sample subjects, such as Maths, Science and English, to type over.
  • A colour rule that shades every slot reading Lunch break.

Make your own class or exam timetable

  1. Add your own colour rules in Format, Conditional formatting: one per subject, so Maths is always blue and Science always green.
  2. For an exam timetable, type each exam's date into the heading of its day, and delete the days you don't need.
  3. Pin the timetable note on Home, or set a reminder on it the evening before each exam.

Questions about timetables

How do I lay out a weekly class timetable?

Put the days across the top and the times down the side, then type each class into its slot. This template is laid out that way already, from 8:00 to 17:00.

Can I use it as an exam timetable?

Yes. Type the exams into their slots and the dates into the day headings, and remove the columns or rows you don't need.

Can I change the times?

Yes. The times are ordinary cells: type new ones, or add rows for earlier or later slots.
