Study planner

This study planner template keeps every subject's work in one sheet: the topic, when it's due, how many days are left, and the hours you planned and have done. Progress works itself out, and a tick box marks each topic finished.

What's in this study planner

  • Columns for subject, topic, due date, days left, hours planned, hours done, progress and finished.
  • Days left counted from today, shaded orange when three days or fewer remain and red once the date has passed.
  • Progress as a percentage of the hours planned, which turns green at 100%.
  • A tick box in the Finished column, and room for 19 topics.

Plan hours by subject

  1. Plan the hours honestly, then log what you really did. The gap between the two columns tells you where to spend next week.
  2. Sort by the Due column (Data, Sort range) to see what's coming first.
  3. Pair it with the exam revision note template for the facts and formulas you need to remember.

Questions about study planners

How do I plan study hours across subjects?

Give each topic a row with the hours you plan to spend, and log the hours you do. The planner works out your progress and the days left before each due date.

What happens when a deadline passes?

The days left go below zero and turn red, so overdue topics stand out until you finish them.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. It opens in Memlow Sheets on Android and in your browser, and works offline.
