What’s inside

  • 3 sections: Owed to me, I owe, Settled.
  • Checklists to tick off (one item is ready; add as many as you like). Ticked items can move to the bottom.
  • Reminders on any item: each one shows up in Tasks, under Today or Upcoming.
  • Numbered steps that renumber themselves when you add or move one.
  • Its look: a butter note on lined paper, written in Courier Prime. Change any of it in the Style panel.

Tips for using it

  1. Write the name, amount and date on each line, like 'Bilal, 500, 12 Oct'.
  2. Move entries to Settled and tick them when they're paid, so the open lists show only what's outstanding.
  3. Lock the note with a PIN, since it holds other people's names and amounts.

Questions

Is this like a khata or udhaar book?

It does the same job as a paper khata: a record of who has taken goods or money on credit and what has been paid back.

Can I add up what's owed?

In the lists you write totals yourself, or you can put entries in a table and use its totals row to sum the amounts.
