Daily sales template

Many small shops and stalls keep sales in a paper notebook that's easy to lose or smudge. This daily sales record template gives each day its own dated note with numbered sales, a list of expenses, a total and the cash in hand, so closing up is quick.

  • Space to fill in: Total, Cash in hand.
  • Numbered steps that renumber themselves when you add or move one.

Tips for using it

  1. Write each sale as item and amount, like 'Tea x2, 120', as it happens rather than at closing.
  2. Need the sums done for you? Use a table with a totals row instead of the numbered list.
  3. Count the cash at closing and compare it with your total; a gap is easier to explain the same day.
